I became interested in photography after graduating from high school. My dad gave me an old Minolta camera and my love for photography grew from there.
After having children, I realized that my photographs were turning out better than the studio shots of my kids. Next thing I knew, other people started asking if I could photograph their kids. Before I knew it, I found myself doing team pictures with great success.
I was blessed with an opportunity to purchase Fast Ball Photography and learn the art of digital photography. Soon after, I met Rae and Wes Leytham, phenomenal wedding photographers in Pensacola, Florida. They mentored me in the art of photography and photo editing. I accompanied them on some of their wedding shoots and learned from experience what you can't learn in a classroom.
Now I'm sought after as a family photographer - specializing in senior portraits, maternity and family portraits, as well as some pageant and corporate photography.
What makes me different from other photographers? I take the time to try and make what can be a stressful situation as pleasant as possible. I work very hard to put the subject at ease no matter how long it takes. During a sitting, I may take 200 shots and there are always many beautiful poses to choose from. Its very important to me to be on time, organized and pleasant. I spend a lot of time researching the latest trends in photography from props to backdrops, so that my photography is always cutting-edge, fresh, and full of your personal perspective. But you'll never see me putting stylistic decisions over getting the best shots for you.
I understand that you aren't actually looking for a photographer. You want now, this moment captured in time. That's why I do not charge by the hour. Tomorrow, today will be gone forever and I want to give you what you want. Now. This moment. The memories that define this time of your life should sit forever on your mantle.
Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. - 1st Corinthias 10:13
